This policy explains how Employer of Record Australia ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use employerofrecordaustralia.com.au. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Contact form messages. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional company name, the topic you choose and your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request, for security and troubleshooting.
We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts on this website. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.
How we use it
We use contact form information only to reply to you and to improve our content, for example by fixing an error you report. We use server logs to keep the website secure and running. We don't sell or rent personal information and we don't use it for direct marketing.
Storage and security
Contact form messages are stored on our web host's servers in a location that is not publicly accessible, and are sent to our team by email. Our hosting provider may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete contact messages when they are no longer needed.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last reviewed.
